Blog 9- Conclusion
(Brown, 2022) To conclude this series of blogs I will be discussing the development of my choreography and what I would do differently in the future. Referring back to Blog 1, I discussed how the stimulus image led to my creative process of Locked- in Syndrome. This affected my creative process as the movements are a reflection of the powerful thoughts happening inside the body and how we can translate that through artistry. To allow the audience to visualise Locked- in syndrome there are moments in the choreography where the dancer is standing almost disassociated which reflects the shield and how isolated it feels. During the process of creating the choreography it was interesting to have other dancers to collaborate with as they interpreted similarly but had different ideas for the movements. This allowed us to explore a large variety of interpretations which we can use to help develop our own individuality during our own performance. ( Kurucz, 2017) I think I achieved the them...
